MyCPD is a professional development tracking app that helps users record, manage, export and share Continuing Professional Development activities.

Information we collect

We may collect and store the following information when you use MyCPD:

• Email address used to create and access your account
• Account identifier linked to your user profile
• CPD activity records you create, including titles, dates, hours, outcomes, notes and categories
• Files you upload, such as certificates or supporting documents
• Goals you create inside the app
• Shared view links and preferences you choose when generating shareable profiles
• Feedback or support messages you choose to send to us
• Subscription and purchase status needed to manage premium access

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Store and display your CPD records, goals and uploaded evidence
• Generate exports such as PDF and CSV files
• Create live shareable views based on the filters you select
• Support premium subscriptions and restore purchases
• Provide customer support and respond to bug reports or feature suggestions
• Maintain app security, reliability and functionality

Shared views

Shared links are designed to help you present your CPD profile to employers, clients or other relevant parties. If you later add more records that match the same filters, those records may automatically appear in that live shared view.

You are responsible for choosing what to share and who you share those links with.

Subscriptions and purchases

MyCPD offers free and premium features. If you purchase a subscription through Apple, we receive subscription status information required to activate and manage premium access. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Feedback and support requests

If you choose to submit a bug report, feature suggestion or support request, we may collect the information you provide in that form, including your subject, message and, if you choose, your email address.

If you submit feedback anonymously, we will not use your email to contact you about that request.

How your information is stored

Your data is stored using third-party infrastructure providers that support the operation of the MyCPD service, including secure authentication, database storage and file storage services.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as your account remains active, or as long as needed to provide the service to you.

If you delete your account, your account and linked app data are removed from the service, subject to any limited retention required for legal, security or operational reasons.

Your choices

• You can update your account email and password within the app
• You can delete CPD records, goals and shared links you no longer want
• You can choose whether to share your CPD profile with others
• You can delete your account from within the app settings

Account deletion

This includes your stored CPD records, goals, shared views and associated profile information linked to your account.

Third-party services

MyCPD may rely on third-party providers to support authentication, file storage, hosting, subscriptions and technical operations. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services.

Children’s privacy

MyCPD is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
